a study works when it feels calm and everything is to hand. cables are tamed, the desk is scaled to you, light is bright enough to work by without glare, and there’s a place for the printer that doesn’t hum in your ear when you’re on a Zoom call.
I design around how you actually work, not around a catalogue. real-book shelves sized to take the weight, a desk with the right depth and reach, soft-closing drawers for files and tech., a ventilated cupboard for the router and printer, cable management planned in from the start. doors can be timber or glass if you want to hide the day’s work, lighting is layered, task where you need it and quiet ambient in the room.
I measure with lasers, design from first principles in cad, then build and fit to the millimetre, materials chosen to suit your home. one commission at a time.
